1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Kozu (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
Kozu is a personal cosmetics tracking app that helps you manage your product inventory, track expiration dates, and log skincare routines. The App does not require an account — your data is stored locally on your device and, if you enable iCloud, synced across your Apple devices via Apple's infrastructure.
3. Free Tier & Premium Subscription
3.1 Free Tier
Kozu is free to download and use, with the following limits:
- Up to 10 products
- Up to 2 routines
3.2 Kozu Premium (Auto-Renewing Subscription)
Kozu offers an optional auto-renewing subscription ("Kozu Premium") that removes these limits and unlocks additional features.
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price you agreed to at purchase.
- Price and duration (monthly or annual) are displayed in the App at the time of purchase and in your App Store subscription settings.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings, after purchase. Cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period.
- No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period.
- Existing content and data are never deleted if you downgrade from Premium to the free tier — items beyond the free tier limit become read-only until you either delete items to fall within the limit or resubscribe.
3.3 Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be made directly to Apple through your App Store account, subject to Apple's refund policies.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the App only for lawful, personal purposes
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App
- Not use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functioning
5. Product & Ingredient Information Disclaimer
Kozu helps you track and organize information about cosmetic products, including ingredients detected via optical character recognition (OCR) or entered manually. This information is provided for organizational purposes only and:
- Is not medical, dermatological, or safety advice
- May contain inaccuracies due to OCR misreads or user input errors
- Should not be relied upon as the sole basis for decisions about product safety, allergies, or skin reactions
Always refer to the original product packaging and consult a qualified professional for any health-related concerns.
6. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, branding, and underlying code, is the property of the developer and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Product names, brand names, and trademarks referenced within the App (e.g. product or ingredient data you enter) belong to their respective owners and are used solely for your personal organizational purposes.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that OCR-detected data will always be accurate.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App — including but not limited to loss of data, missed expiration reminders, or reliance on inaccurate product information.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue the App, in whole or in part, at any time.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict of law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply.
